Back For A Bit More Today

We’ve returned to Golden Beach on the South East corner of Paros. This is an area that we didn’t explore last year and it’s turned out to be very nice.  Apparently, we are not the only ones that feel that way. We have some nice company here.

Winds have really died off today so kitesurfing may not happen. Time to find a good book!!

Paros Island

The winds finally dropped yesterday and we sailed away from Kythnos happy with the decision to stay but thrilled to be on our way.

After a nice six hour downwind motor sail we have arrived in the main harbor of Paros.  This was a favorite of ours and especially mine last year.

It’s time for some kitesurfing!!!

Random Photos from the Cyclade Islands

Deb has run off to Turkey for a few days, leaving Ita and I to backtrack our way up North towards the Marina that will be Morpheus’ home for the winter. Not much to report. The winds have been light so far so the traveling has been easy. I miss discovering new spots, but there is an advantage to returning to known harbors when single handing.

Given the lack of exciting new stuff to report, I’ll just post a few photos from the past month.  I’ve started using Google Photos to back up my pictures and the service does some interesting things to some of the pictures that I upload. I like what it’s done to these.

Sheltering Again!

Well, perhaps all of those people that have left the area and gone back to work know something that we didn’t??  The weather has taken a very quick change for the worse.  After three months of blue skies, very few clouds and absolutely no rain, all of that changed yesterday.

We are back anchored off Paros Island yet again.

The forecast for tomorrow is encouraging and hopefully we will be on our way once again!
